The Provincial Handing Over and Taking Over Ceremony of the New Provincial and Teamof the Society of St. Ursula, Indian Province, was solemnly held on 11 February 2026 at 6:00 p.m. during the Eucharistic Celebration at Shanti Ashram, Pune. The meaningful occasion marked the official transition of leadership from Sr. Marina and her team to the newly appointed Provincial, Sr. Valery, and her team, under the inspiring theme “Sail On.”

The Eucharistic celebration created a deeply prayerful and grace-filled atmosphere. It was a moment to express heartfelt gratitude for the dedicated leadership of the outgoing Provincial and her team, while invoking God’s blessings and guidance upon the newly appointed Provincial and her team. In the presence of the three communities, the ceremony beautifully symbolized continuity, unity, and renewed commitment to the mission and charism of the congregation.

During the rite of handing over, Sr. Marina formally entrusted the responsibilities of leadership to Sr. Valery, marking a significant and symbolic moment for the Province.
